BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Gulf South Conference announced that GreyStone Golf Club located in Dickson, Tenn., will be the site of the 2026 and 2027 GSC Men’s and Women’s Golf Championships.
The 2026 GSC Golf Championships will be held April 19-22, while the 2027 event will take place from April 18-21.
“We’re excited to partner with GreyStone to bring our golf championships back to Tennessee for the next two years,” said GSC Commissioner Matt Wilson. “Their support helps us and our member institutions maintain the high standards we set for this tournament. Dickson will offer an outstanding environment and experience for our schools and student-athletes.”
“It is an honor to host the Gulf South Conference Championship for the next two years,” stated GreyStone Golf Club Owner Bob Wolcott. “GreyStone loves having competitive events in all levels of play and has hosted 10 Tennessee State Opens, PGA Tour Qualifying, and was the site of the 2025 Tennessee State Junior Championship. We look forward to having the best teams in the country come compete.”
The annual Gulf South Conference outing returns to Tennessee for the first time in 40 years. The 2026 tournaments will also mark the first time the event is held in both the City of Dickson and the greater Nashville metro area. Previously, the GSC golf tournaments were held in Tennessee only twice—once in 1974 and again in 1986—both times in the City of Martin.
The GSC has built a strong legacy on the golf course, earning recognition as one of the premier NCAA Division II golf conferences for both men and women. Its programs have claimed 10 national championships, including two men's titles in the past four years, with Lee University winning in 2022 and West Florida doing the same in 2025.
