The Gulf South Conference announced its women’s tennis weekly award winners of the 2025 season, following performances between March 10-16. A pair of underclassmen were honor as Valdosta State's Natalie Rainke was named GSC Player of the Week, while West Alabama's Alexa Milliam repeated as Freshman of the Week.
Player of the Week:
Natalie Rainke, So., Valdosta State
Rainke helped the Blazers to their first conference win of season with aiding in a 7-0 decision over Delta State. Featuring at the top of the singles lineup, the sophomore tallied a 6-1, 6-2 victory against Elena Palioura. Rainke also won in doubles, alongside Viktoriia Fedorova, on court two with a 6-2 result. She is now 9-3 this season in singles

Freshman of the Week:
Alexa Milliam, Fr., West Alabama
Milliam contributed to a pair of wins over the weekend as West Alabama defeated Delta State and No. 18 West Florida. In singles action, the rookie logged straight set wins over UWF’s Sandra Recuenco (6-3, 6-4) and DSU’s Marie Caride (6-2, 6-4) while playing on court two. Milliam, alongside teammate Emiri Takanshi, also registered 6-2 doubles victories against UWF’s Luiza Daud / Nathalia Mossambani and DSU’s Lara Torres / Marie Caride. This is Milliam's second freshman weekly award from the conference, after previously be recognized on February 5.
