UWF's Thorvaldsdottir Headlines D2CCA Women's Soccer All-South Region Selections

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Division 2 Conference Commissioners Association (D2CCA) announced its 2025 All-South Region Women’s Soccer Team.

West Florida's Olof Thorvaldsdottir headlined the team as D2CCA South Region Player of the Year. The sophomore led the Argonauts with 10 goals, eight assists and 28 points, which was also the most points earned by any GSC player. She was voted the 2025 GSC Offensive Player of the Year and helped lead West Florida to a GSC Regular Season Championship and GSC Tournament Championship, as well as an NCAA Division II Championship berth as the No. 1-seed in the NCAA South Region.

The GSC had 15 players from four schools selected for the team. West Florida had the most honorees with seven, including five first-team selections. Montevallo followed with four honorees, while Lee had three and West Alabama had one.
