Two GSC Teams Clinch Spots in 2025 NCAA Men’s Soccer Championship

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The NCAA announced Monday that West Florida and Mississippi College were selected for the 2025 NCAA Division II Men’s Soccer Championship.
 
This is the second consecutive year that the Gulf South Conference has two or more men’s teams in the NCAA Tournament and the ninth time overall since 2004. 

West Florida, GSC tournament title winner and recipient of the automatic bid, is headed to the NCAA Tournament for the sixth straight year and 12th time in program history. The Argonauts earned the four-seed in Super Region 2 and will host a second-round game Sunday, Nov. 23 against No. 5 Rollins at the UWF Soccer Complex. The game is set to start at noon CT.

Mississippi College, GSC Regular Season Champion, will make its first-ever NCAA Tournament appearance. The Choctaws were selected as the six-seed in Super Region 2 after going unbeaten in conference play. No. 6 Mississippi College will play in a second-round game and is set to face No. 3 Florida Tech Sunday, Nov. 23 at Rick Stottler Field in Melbourne, Fla. at 3 p.m. ET.

The men’s tournament begins Thursday, Nov. 20 with the first round through quarterfinals played at selected host sites, while the semifinals and championship game will be hosted by the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference at the Switchbacks FC Stadium in Colorado Springs, Colo.
