HUNTSVILLE, Ala. — West Florida lifted the 2025 Gulf South Conference Women’s Soccer Championship trophy, as the top-seeded Argonauts downed third-seed Montevallo, 1-0, claiming back-to-back tournament titles and the conference’s automatic bid to the NCAA Division II Women’s Soccer Championship.
Appearing in their 20th title game, the Argos lifted the Championship trophy for the 13th time in program history. It also marked the first time a team won consecutive tournament titles since UWF accomplished the feat in 2012 and 2013. This was third straight final appearance for Montevallo and the third time in tournament history West Florida and Montevallo met in the championship game.
