BIRMINGHAM, Ala. — The Gulf South Conference announced its Football Players of the Week following Week 10 performances of the 2025 season. Valdosta State swept the awards as Corey Reddick Jr. (offensive), Julius Pascal (defensive), Matt Rolader (special teams), and Shawn Paschall (freshman) were reach recognized.
OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Corey Reddick Jr., Jr., RB, Valdosta State
- Rushed for a GSC season-high 151 yards in a 27-23 win over No. 21 Delta State.
- Tallied 18 carries, averaging 8.4 yards per touch, and one touchdown.
- Made three catches for three yards.
- First running back and Blazer to earn GSC weekly offensive honors this season.

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Julius Pascal, R-So., LB, Valdosta State
- Finished with career-highs in total tackles (14) and solo tackles (nine) to help the Blazers knock off No. 21 Delta State, 27-23.
- Had one tackle for loss totaling five yards and registered 0.5 sack for four yards.
- Led the VSU defense that surrendered just 86 rushing yards on 42 carries.

SPECIAL TEAMS PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Matt Rolader, Fr., K, Valdosta State
- Accounted for nine points in the Blazers win over No. 21 Delta State.
- Went 2-for-2 in field goals, converting attempts from 44 yards and 30 yards, while making all three extra-point kicks.
- This is his second GSC weekly special teams award and fourth weekly award overall of the season.

FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK
Shawn Paschall, RB/RS, Valdosta State
- Had 92 all-purpose yards and one touchdown in a 27-23 win over No. 21 Delta State.
- Rushed for 40 yards and one touchdown on eight carries.
- Had one reception for seven yards, and two kick returns totaling 45 yards.
- Fourth GSC weekly award of the season and third as Freshman of the Week.
