The Gulf South Conference announced its seventh volleyball Player of the Week awardees of the 2025 season, based on performances from Oct 13-19.

OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Kumara Flanagain, Jr., RS/OH, West Florida

• Averaged 3.13 kills and 3.44 points over eight sets as No. 16 West Florida improved to 10-0 in GSC play.
• Registered 12 kills and a .276 hitting percentage in a 3-1 win over Lee.
• Hit .387 with 13 kills on 31 swings in a four-set win in over Trevecca.
• Weekly ledger also included a .333 hitting percentage and five total blocks
• Second consecutive week earning GSC Offensive Player of the Week honors.

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Eimy Negron Domenech, Jr., L, Valdosta State

• Anchored Valdosta State backline as the Blazers went 2-0 in conference action.
• Collected 58 digs, averaging 6.44 per set, across nine sets.
• Began the week with a season-high 36-dig performance in a five-set win against Trevecca.
• Had 22 digs in a 3-1 win over Lee.
• Also contributed to the VSU cause with two aces and five kills.

FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK
Elizabeth Gilbert, RS, Union

• Totaled 37 kills, 27 digs, six aces and seven blocks as Union went 2-1 in league play.
• Began the week with 11 kills and five digs in a four-setter at Lee.
• Logged her second career double-double in a 3-2 win over West Alabama, tying a season-high in kills (16), while posting a season-best 14 digs 
• Had 10 kills, finishing two digs shy of another double-double in a five-setter against Mississippi College.
