#GSCBase Players of the Week: May 3
The Gulf South Conference announced its Baseball Players of the Week for the 2022 season. This week's awards were for games played between April 25-May 1.
Player of the Week: Hayden White – Delta State, INF, Sr.
White helped the No. 25 Statesmen to a 4-0 week to close the regular season. White hit .538 (7-for-12) with two runs scored, two doubles, two RBI, in conference action againts Christian Brothers, finishing with a 8-for-16 clip at the plate with five runs scored, three doubles, five RBI, two walks and a steal.

Pitcher of the Week: Luke Williamson – Union, LHP, Sr.
Williamson helped the Bulldogs to series win over Mississippi College as he was credited with with an eight-inning victory in the Friday's series opener. The left-hander posted a 1.12 ERA and tossed 10 strikeouts, while allowing one run on five hits.

Freshman of the the Week: Clayton Slagle – Auburn Montgomery, RHP
Slagle tossed a season-high 6.1 scoreless innings en route to logging his fourth win of 2022. The rookie right-hander struck out six and gave up just four hits in a win against Shorter.
