88 #GSCITF Athletes Garner All-Region Honors
NEW ORLEANS — All-Region honors for the 2022 NCAA Division II Indoor Track & Field season were announced by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).

Eighty-eight Gulf South Conference student-athletes from six schools hauled in a combined 154 All-Region accolades.
The conference was led by Lee, who hauled in a nation-best 62 All-Region honors. The Lady Flames were the second-most recognized program, men’s or women’s, as they garnered 35 awards. The men’s program meanwhile garnered 27 total honors.
Mississippi College followed with 43 total honors as the women’s team received 20 All-Region accolades, while the men filled out the balance with 13.
Alabama Huntsville received 23 honors, six women and 17 men. Montevallo combined for 11 as it received three women awards and eight men. Christian Brothers had a six-four split in favor of the women’s team as they combined for 10. West Georgia rounded out the order with five women’s awards.
Individually, 43 GSC student-athletes received multiple All-Region honors. Lee’s Jeremiah McCain and Celine Ritter led the way as each finished with five awards. MC’s Fabio Palmieri and Tytavia Hardy each had four, as did Carson Bix, Christian Noble and Toni Moore from Lee.
