#GSCSB Players of the Week: Feb. 15
The Gulf South Conference announced its Softball Players of the Week for the 2022 season. This week's awards were for games played between Feb. 7-13.
Player of the Week: Mccall Lee, So./C, Mississippi College
Lee helped Mississippi College knock off No.13 Lincoln Memorial, 14-10, in 10 innings on the final day at the Charger Chillout. The sophomore catcher had a solid weekend at the plate going 10-for-19 (.526) with 10 RBI, four doubles, a triple and a home run. Lee also slugged 1.000 and posted a .609 OBP.

Pitcher of the Week: Olivia Burns, Sr., Delta State
Burns posted a 1.02 ERA and a 2-1 record with three complete games during the Charger Chillout. The senior worked 20.2 innings and tossed 11 strikeouts, while posting .179 opponent batting average. Burns picked up wins over Southern Indiana (7.0 IP, 5 H, 1 ER, 3 K) and Young Harris (7.0 IP, 4 H, 1 ER, 5 K)
ssing 7.0 innings with five strikeouts and allowing just one earned run in a complete game 4-3 win over Young Harris.

Freshman of the Week: Jeya Prasad, Fr./P, West Florida
Prasad helped West Florida to a 3-0 week as she posted 13 strikeouts, a 1.68 ERA over 16.2 innings. The freshman commanded the circle as she held opponents to a .123 batting average and went 2-0 at the Florida Tech Invitational.
