- Kathryn Fallen recorded the first three RBIs of the contest, driving in one on a fielder's choice in the first, and then hitting a two-run homer in the third.
- MC's McCall Lee cut the lead to 3-2 with a two-run home run of her own in the fourth.
- Gia Martin made the biggest play of the day for the Warhawks in the top of the fifth with a grand slam that would put the game out of reach.
- For Auburn Montgomery, this is the school's first GSC Championship since becoming eligible in the summer of 2019.
