- After Lee got off to a quick 9-3 lead, Union reeled off a 14-0 run to end the first quarter. Shanique Lucas hit two three-pointers during that stretch.
- Trailing all game, Lee was able to cut the deficit to just six points with under seven minutes left to go in the game with a three-pointer from leading scorer Hannah Garrett.
- Union would pull away, with All-Tournament selections Jaelencia Williams and Shanique Lucas combining for 46 points.
- This is Union's second straight title, third title in four years, and fourth title in seven years.
