- After a scoreless first half, Mississippi College took the lead in the 57th minute through a goal from Santi Diosa. The goal was his first of the Spring Championship Series.
- Chandler O'Dwyer tied the match just four minutes later when he headed Jacob Daffern's free kick into the net.
- In the 82nd minute, O'Dwyer scored what proved to be the game-winner. His free kick gave him his fifth goal of the Spring Championship Series.
