- After grabbing an early two-set lead, Valdosta State dropped the third set before sealing the match in the fourth. The Blazers overcame an early four-point deficit to take the decisive set.
- Valdosta State had two players reach the double-digit kills mark in Jessie Mooney (19) and Caitlin Warnshuis (14). Both players are above the 3.00 kills/set mark this spring.
- Tammy Reyes Perez had 45 assists, which his second-highest single match total this spring.
