NOTABLE
- The first two sets were competitive, with both teams taking a set each. West Alabama held off a Shorter comeback in the third set to take a 2-1 lead.
- Shorter used an 8-0 run to stay alive and win the fourth set. This set the stage for the decisive fifth set.
- The Lady Hawks went on an 8-2 spurt to begin the fifth and used that to propel themselves to a 15-10 win in the final frame.
- Lacee Glover was the standout player for the Lady Hawks, racking up 18 kills, 18 digs, and two service aces. Jade Smith had nine kills and provided a large defensive contribution with ten total blocks. Annie Smith had a season-high 46 assists.
