GSC Football All-GSC and Awards Announced
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. — The Gulf South Conference announced its annual football awards on Thursday.
West Florida’s Austin Reed was named GSC Offensive Player of the Year; Mississippi College’s Marcus Williams was named Freshman Offensive Player of the Year; Delta State’s Marvin Terry was voted Defensive Player of the Year; North Greenville’s De’Iveon Donald was named Freshman Defensive Player of the Year; and Valdosta State’s Gary Goff was named Coach of the Year.
The All-GSC First and Second Team, as well as individual awards, were voted on by the league’s eight head coaches. Each all-conference team was comprised of 31 players (1-QB, 2-RB, 4-WR, 1-TE, 1-C, 2-T, 2-G, 4-DL, 4-LB, 4-DB, 1-K, 1-P, 1-RS, 2-utility ST).
