GSC Announces Women's Cross Country All-Decade Awards

GSC WOMEN'S CROSS COUNTRY ALL-DECADE AWARDS (2010-19)

BIRMINGHAM, Ala.
 – The Gulf South Conference is proud to announce the GSC All-Decade Awards for women’s cross country. The awards factor in the years 2010-19 and were jointly selected by institutional personnel, coaches, and league administrators.

Alabama Huntsville’s Vicky Winslow has been named the GSC Runner of the Decade. Winslow is a three-time First Team All-GSC honoree, winning the GSC Championship twice (2012 and 2013) and finishing as the runner-up in the event in 2015. Her senior year, Winslow earned All-American honors with a 34th place finish at the NCAA Championship. She is also a three-time All-South Region selection, including a first place finish in 2013 and a runner-up finish in 2015.
 
Lee’s Caleb Morgan has been named the GSC Coach of the Decade. The Lady Flames became eligible for GSC awards in 2015 and have won three GSC Championships and have finished as the league’s runner-up twice in that time. Lee has currently advanced to four straight NCAA Championships. In 2019, Morgan guided the Lady Flames to a regional title and a 14th place finish at the national meet, which is the best finish by any GSC team since 2006.
