- Freshman Kaylee Foster opened up the scoring in the fourth minute. It was her seventh goal on the season, which is tied for second on the team.
- MC would go on to take a 3-0 lead late in the second half with goals from Emma Claire Furman and GSC Offensive Player of the Year Katie Taylor.
- Erin Longsden put DSU on the board in the 79th minute. It was the first ever postseason appearance for Delta State women's soccer.
- This is the third time in four years that Mississippi College has advanced to the GSC Semifinals.
