OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Rogan Wells Valdosta State
Passing Yards: 364 // Passing Touchdowns: 4 // Rushing Touchdowns: 2
Notes: Wells threw for a career-high 364 yards and rushed for career-high two touchdowns in the VSU win against Delta State. This is the fourth time this season that Wells has been named GSC Offensive Player of the Week. He is the first player since VSU quarterback Lance Funderburk in 1996 to win this award four times in one season.

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
J.T. Hassell Florida Tech
Tackles: 20 // Forced Fumbles: 1
Notes: Hassell recorded an FIT record 20 tackles, including 15 solo tackles, in the Panther win over Mississippi college. He also forced a fumble and broke up a pass. Hassell is just the 10th player in GSC history to record at least 20 tackles in a game, and the first since 2013 (Chris Pope, VSU). This is the third time this season that Hassell has won this award.

SPECIAL TEAMS PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Andrew Gray Valdosta State
Field Goals: 1-for-1 // PATs: 8-for-8
Notes: Gray added to GSC leading point total, scoring 11 points in the VSU win over Delta State. The senior was converted all of his extra points and tacked on a field goal. He also recorded three touchbacks on kickoffs. 

FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK
Michael Henderson Valdosta State
Kick Returns: 5 // Kick Return Yards: 124
Notes: Henderson had a career day returning kicks for the Blazers, totaling 124 yards on five returns. He's currently second in the GSC in yards per kick return (27.3). He is the fifth straight VSU freshman to win this award.
