OFFENSIVE PLAYER & FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK
Patrick Shegog Delta State
Passing Yards: 319 // Touchdowns: 3 // Interceptions: 0
Notes: Shegog went 22-for-29 for a career-high 319 yards, three touchdowns, and no interceptions in the Statesmen win over Shorter. Shegog is the first Statesmen quarterback to win this award since Tyler Sullivan in 2015.

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Abraham Wallace West Alabama
Tackles: 10 // Forced Fumbles: 1
Notes: Wallace was tied for the team lead with 10 tackles in a huge win for the Tigers against Florida Tech, who was ranked fourth in the region. Wallace also forced a fumble and had two tackles for loss in the game. Wallace is the first UWA player to win this award this season.

SPECIAL TEAMS PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Omar Cervantes West Georgia
Field Goals: 2-for-2 // PATs: 4-for-4 // Longest FG: 50 yards
Notes: Cervantes was a perfect 2-for-2 on field goals to help keep UWG undefeated. He also kicked a 50-yard field goal to end the first half, the first 50-yard FG for West Georgia in 13 years. He has now won this award in back-to-back weeks.
