OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Romell Guerrier Florida Tech
Receiving Yards: 116 // Receiving Touchdowns: 2
Notes: Guerrier recorded a game-high six receptions for 116 yards and notched his third multi-touchdown game of the season to help Florida Tech knock off No. 19 West Florida, 30-28. Guerrier caught two touchdowns in the game, including the game-winning 79-yard touchdown with 5:39 left in the fourth. Guerrier's score capped off a 27-0 run by the Panthers that helped them mount the largest comeback in program history. The senior currently leads the GSC in receptions (43), yards (687), and is tied for the lead with nine touchdowns.

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Derric Hawthorn Mississippi College
Tackles: 7 // Interceptions: 1 // Fumbles Recovered: 1
Notes: Hawthorn had seven tackles, including five solo stops in a 37-24 win over Shorter. He was also responsible for two turnovers, recovering a fumble that led to MC's first touchdown of the game, and his interception in the second quarter led to a 25-yard touchdown run on the very next play. Hawthorn leads the Choctaws with 39 tackles this season.

SPECIAL TEAMS PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Omar Cervantes West Georgia
Field Goals: 2-for-2 // PATs: 3-for-3
Notes: Cervantes had a pair of field goals over 40 yards in the 27-25 victory for the Wolves over West Alabama. He also knocked in a three PATs, and had three touchbacks on kickoffs. He is the first West Georgia kicker since 2015 (Hunter Heck) to win this award.

FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK
Calvin Sims Jr. Mississippi College
Tackles: 7 // TFL: 2 // Pass Breakups: 1
Notes: Sims Jr. was tied for lead in tackles for the Choctaws with seven tackles, including five solo stops, in the 37-24 win over Shorter. Sims Jr. also posted a tackle for loss and a pass breakup in the victory. He's the second MC defensive back (Jaylan Hassell) to win this award this season.
