OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Devontae Jackson West Georgia
Rushing Yards: 224 // Rushing Touchdowns: 2
Notes: Jackson had a career-high 224 yards on 33 carries, including a pair of TDs, in UWG's 27-7 win over #10 West Florida. In the win, he broke the career rushing record at West Georgia. His 3,513 career yards on the ground currently ranks sixth in GSC history, and he is only 11 yards shy of fifth place. The reigning GSC Offensive Player of the Year is winning this award for the second time in his career.

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Korie Rogers West Georgia
Tackles: 7 // Interceptions: 1
Notes: Rogers led UWG in tackles in the win over #10 West Florida. He also had an interception, and made the tackle on a key fourth-and-one play to stop UWF early in the third quarter. Rogers is the second player off of the top defense in the league to win this award this season.

SPECIAL TEAMS PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Andrew Gray Valdosta State
Field Goals: 1-for-1 // PATs: 6-for-6
Notes: Gray added to GSC leading point total, scoring nine points in the VSU win over Florida Tech. The senior was converted all of his extra points and tacked on a field goal. He also averaged 60.6 yards on eight kickoffs, including four touchbacks. This is the second straight week that Gray has won this award.

FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK
Shy'Rik Furman Shorter
Tackles: 4 // Sacks: 1 // TFL: 2
Notes: The freshman led the Hawks in sacks and tackles for loss in Saturday's game against North Greenville. He is the first Shorter player to win this award since currently starting quarterback Tyler Pullum won the award twice in 2016.
