OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Rogan Wells Valdosta State
Passing Yards: 295 // Passing Touchdowns: 6 // Rushing Touchdowns: 1
Notes: Wells threw for a career-high six touchdowns and rushed for one more in the 63-42 win for the Blazers at Mississippi College. This was the 24th time in GSC history that a player has thrown for six touchdowns in a game, last happening in 2016 (Kaleb Nobles, UWF). Wells' 19 passing touchdowns ranks second in the NCAA. This is the third time that he was won this award in 2018.

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
J.T. Hassell Florida Tech
Tackles: 9 // Sacks: 4.0
Notes: Hassell recorded an FIT record four sacks in the road win for the Panthers against Wingate. He is only the eighth player in GSC history to record at least four sacks in a game. He leads the league in tackles, and this is the second time this season that Hassell been named GSC Defensive Player of the Week.

SPECIAL TEAMS PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Austin Williams West Florida
Field Goals: 3-for-3 // Longest FG: 37 yds
Notes: Williams scored 12 points, going 3-for-3 in both PATs and FGs. His 38 career field goals rank ninth in GSC history. He has made seven straight field goals, and he has now won this award three times this season and the sixth time in his career.

FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK
Jamar Thompkins Valdosta State
Rushing Attempts: 8 // Yards: 180 // Touchdowns: 2
Notes: Thompkins leads the GSC in rushing yards, and his 180 yards against Mississippi College were the most in the league in a single game this season. This is the fourth straight week that a VSU freshman has won this award.
