Union rallies for GSC Quarterfinal win
JACKSON, Tenn. – Union senior Roy Bullock put together his second-best offensive performance of the season with 22 points to help lead the Bulldogs past Valdosta State, 80-73, in his final career home game Tuesday in the 2015-16 VisitSpaceCoast.com Gulf South Conference Men’s Basketball Tournament quarterfinals. Three Union players scored 20-plus points in the win.

KEY MOMENTS
After trailing for most of the game, Union used two defensive stops to help regain the lead. Felipe Rocha hit two free throws to give the Bulldogs a 63-62 lead with 4:30 to play. Union scored eight of the last 10 points to close the game, mostly from the free throw line.

-VSU shot 56 percent in the first half to lead most of the period.
-Union was 21-of-22 from the free throw line in the second half.
