The Gulf South Conference names its men’s soccer Players of the Week for the period ending September 25, 2011.
 
Christian Brothers forward/midfielder Michael Hollier (So., 5-9, 160, Teurlings, La.) is the Gulf South Conference Player of the Week. The scored his first three goals of the season in two matches, including the game-winners in both contests, as CBU ran its win streak to five straight. In the Bucs 1-0 win over Lindenwood, Hollier – who had missed the four previous games with an injury - scored in the 69th minute on his only shot of the game. In a back-and-forth affair against Young Harris, Hollier scored twice. The final goal came in the 87th minute to give CBU a 3-2 victory.

Christian Brothers defender David Skull (Jr., 6-1, 194, Adelaide, Australia) is the Gulf South Conference Defender of the Week. Skull played every minute of both matches as the Christian Brothers defense helped the Bucs allow only two goals on 29 total shots (10 on goal). CBU was able to procure two victories, including a 1-0 shutout over Lindenwood.
