Gulf South Conference Hall of Fame
Baird was a three-time men’s golf letter winner at Valdosta State. He helped the Blazers to back-to-back NCAA Division II National Championship appearances in 1994 and 1995, while winning the individual title both years. Baird was the GSC Golfer of the Year and tournament medalist in 1994, in addition to being a two-time First Team GCAA All-America selection and two-time recipient of the Arnold Palmer Award.
