Career Highlights
  • Volleyball student-athlete at North Alabama from 1996-99.
  • Was a four-year starter and helped her squad to a 156-22 combined record, four-straight GSC Championships and two NCAA Division II Regional Championships.
  • Was the recipient of the GSC Commissioner's Trophy in 1998.
  • Was the recipient of the NCAA Division II Conference Commissioner's Association (D2CCA) National Female Scholar Athlete of the Year (2000).
  • Set an NCAA DII record for career kill attempts (6,091) and attempts in a four-game match (81).
  • Along with her sister Ronda, is one of only nine UNA student-athletes all-time to have earned both All-America and Academic All-America. Was an AVCA Second Team All-America in 1998-99 and was a CoSIDA Academic All-America in 1998 (Third Team) and 1999 (First Team).
  • Was selected as the Alabama Sports Writers Association State Small College Athlete of the Year in 1997.
  • Was the GSC East Division Freshman of the Year (1996) and GSC Co-Player of the Year (1997).
  • Academic All-GSC (1997-99) and CoSIDA Academic All-District IV in 1997 and 1999.
  • Along with her sister Ronda, the two were highlighted in a feature on ncaa.com as part of an ongoing series called, "After the Game".
  • Following her graduation from UNA in 2000, she attended the Indiana University School of Medicine, where she both graduated and fulfilled her residency.
  • Was awarded an NCAA Post-Graduate Scholarship in 2000.
  • Was inducted into the UNA Hall of Fame in her first year of eligibility in 2011.
