West Florida's Sarah Carrion is this week's recipient of the Gulf South Conference Women's Cross Country Freshman Runner of the Week.
Carrion takes home her second honor of the season, helping UWF to a third-place team finish at Saturday's Valdosta State Cross Country Challenge in Valdosta, Ga. The Lake Mary, Fla. native ran a personal-best time in the 5K race at 19:02.40 which was good for 10th place in the individual field.
