Shorter University's Silas Too is this week’s Gulf South Conference Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week.
Too follows Monday's USTFCCCA National Athlete of the Week laurel by posting his second consecutive GSC weekly honor. The freshman also claimed his fourth overall honor, third in the last four weeks. The Iten, Kenya native turned in his fourth individual win over the weekend, finishing a full two minutes ahead of the second-place runner at the 8K Choctaw Challenge in Clinton, Miss. Too broke the previous course record by three seconds via a time of 23:42.80.
