Shorter University's Jennifer Yu is the Gulf South Conference Women's Golfer of the Month for September.
Yu notched Top Five efforts in each of the two tournaments she participated in, leading the Lady Hawks to Team Titles in both. The freshman debuted at the Full Moon BBQ Invitational in Montevallo, Ala. by finishing fifth overall via a two-day, +5 total of 147. The Huntingdon Beach, Calif. native capped the month by claiming her first-ever Individual Title at the NCCAA South Region Tournament by shooting a +6, 150.
