Staggs hit .692 (9-for-13), slugged a 1.000 and had a .789 on-base percentage, while helping the Chargers to a 3-1 week, including a series win at Mississippi College. He also finished week with two RBI, seven runs scored, four doubles, three walks and three hit by pitches. In the series with Mississippi College, the rookie third baseman was 8-for-10 (.800) with five runs scored and two RBI. In the first game of Saturday’s doubleheader, Staggs went 4-for-4 with three triples with drive in one run and scoring once. Staggs is currently riding a 23-game hit streak.
