Goad was a versatile weapon for the Trojans who went 4-0 last week with wins over Ashland, Tiffin and Kentucky Wesleyan. The rookie was 2-0 in the circle with a 1.17 ERA, notched two complete games, while tossing 19 strikeouts in 12 innings. From the batter’s box, Goad had three multi-hit games as she went 5-for-10 (.500) with four RBI and scored seven times. Goad posted a well-rounded performance in Trevecca’s second game against Ashland, as she racked up nine K’s in the circle and surrendered just two hits in five innings, while offensively, she was 2-for-2 hitting and accounted for six of 15 runs as she drove in three and scored three.
