Taco collected his second GSC Player of the Week honor this season after going 4-0 on the week and helping Valdosta State to finish the regular season undefeated at 17-0. The veteran began the week on court two singles where he downed no. 20 Embry-Riddle’s Enrico Rosellini 6-1, 6-4 before he got the nod on court one singles and left with a 6-2, 6-4 win over 28th-ranked Georgia College’s Chase Martin. In line one doubles, he and partner Xaveam Van Wijk went 2-0 on the week with wins over Embry-Riddle’s Wilson Igbinovia and Alvaro Diaz Rodrigo (6-3) and Georgia College’s Martin and Rodrigo Perez Crispo (6-3). Taco finished the regular season ranked third nationally in singles with a record of 19-1 and ninth nationally in doubles with a record of 14-3.
