Butler slugged 1.800 last week and averaged a home run per game in five games. The weekly ledger for senior also included 10 RBI, 13 runs scored, three doubles and seven walks while hitting 9-for-15 (.600) and tallying a .760 on-base percentage. He opened the five-game slate with a 3-for-5 showing against Carson-Newman that included two homers and three RBI, before tallying his second consecutive double of the week and two more RBI in a 2-for-2 effort against Miles. In the Chargers’ three-game series with Union, Butler hit 4-for-8 (.500), scored eight times while driving in five runs, and homered in all three games. In the series finale, Butler was 2-for-2 with four walks, two RBI and five runs scored. This is Butler's time named GSC Player of the Week this season after previously being recognized on March 11.
