Thompson collected her third GSC Golfer of the Week honor this season after tying for second at the Lady Bearcat Invitational with a total score of 216 even par. The veteran opened the event with a 72 even par round before closing out the tournament with rounds of 70 two-under par and 74 two-over par, respectively. She helped West Florida to finish fifth in the team competition while also recording 13 birdies.
