Wright helped West Alabama to an unblemished week as she threw a combined 20.0 innings over four games. The senior left-hander began the week tossing eight innings in a doubleheader with Columbus State. In the opener, she went the full seven innings, striking out 11, posting a .091 batting average, while surrendering two hits and two runs in a 3-2 victory. She then worked a perfect inning of relief in game two to secure a 6-5 win. Wright returned to the circle in the Tigers’ series with Delta State, throwing a combined 12 innings and seven strikeouts, while giving up six runs on 11 hits. She helped UWA complete the series sweep another seven-inning complete game performance, that included three strikeouts in a 3-2 win.
