Morey collected her first GSC Defensive Player of the Week honor this season after anchoring a Lander defense in two wins. The junior began the week with a caused turnover and a draw control in a 12-10 win over no. 20 Florida Tech. She was not done there, however, as the Clover, S.C. native picked up two ground balls, caused seven more turnovers, and had two draw controls as she helped Lander to defeat Lee 15-7.
