Destouet contributed to top-ranked Valdosta State’s success last week as the Frenchmen notched a 2-0 record in singles. He opened the two-match slate with a 6-4, 7-5 victory against Saint Leo’s Kodai Kato from court three, to aid in a 4-1 Blazers win. He then logged a 6-0, 6-4 decision over Coastal Georgia’s Maz Kirmayr in a 5-0 win to give Valdosta State its 19th-straight win, dating back to last season. Destouet improved to 3-0 on the season and 2-0 from court two.
