Ekenros had a big week as he helped West Florida capture the 2025 ITA Division II National Team Indoor Championship title. Featuring fifth in the singles lineup, the senior recorded wins against Flagler’s Filip Kana (6-4, 3-6, 6-2), Barry’s Thomas Machado (6-4, 6-3), and Washburn’s Matthew Earle (6-3, 6-4). Ekenros accounted for the Argos’ first point against Barry as they trailed 2-0, before tallying a 4-3 win in the semifinals. He then gave UWF a 2-0 lead in the finals, thanks to his singles win, after he and Miguel Cabrera secured the doubles point from court two with a 6-3 decision over No. 11 Vasek Schneider and Tommy Cecchetti.
