Williams earned his second GSC Field Athlete of the Week honor this season after his showing at the Music City Challenge. In a field full of Division I throwers, the senior placed 15th in the shot put with a throw of 14.42 meters and 17th in the weight throw with a distance of 16.01 meters. He now holds the top throw in the conference in the weight throw and the third-longest throw in the GSC in the shot put.
