Johnson had a strong week en route to his second GSC Player of the Week honor this season with averages of 30 points, five rebounds, and 1.5 assists across two games for Trevecca Nazarene. The senior began the week with an efficient offensive performance as he poured in 24 points on 64 percent shooting, including three treys, while grabbing five rebounds, dishing out an assist, grabbing a steal, and swatting a shot in a hard fought 74-72 win over West Florida. The Durham, N.C. native was not done there, however, as he took his game to the next level against Valdosta State where he dropped a career-high 36 points on 54 percent shooting on top of pulling down five boards, having two assists, and rejecting another shot.
