For the sixth-straight week, Sorrells earned a GSC Freshman of the Week honor after averaging 10 points and 5.5 rebounds in a 1-1 week for Montevallo. To start the week, the freshman put up nine points, grabbed five boards, and had a steal in a 69-64 win over Valdosta State. She also made five of her six free throw attempts. Sorrells then added to her stellar week with 11 points and six more rebounds, including two offensive boards, in a close 70-67 loss against West Florida.
