For the fifth consecutive week, Sorrells has earned GSC Freshman of the Week following a strong contribution to Montevallo’s 1-1 week. The freshman averaged 16 points and 6.5 boards across two performances. In Montevallo’s first matchup of the week, she had her second double-double of the season with 14 points and 10 rebounds while also totaling an assist and a rejection in a heavily contested 67-61 loss to UAH. The Hamilton, Ala. would follow this up with 18 points on 50 percent shooting and three rebounds in a 70-60 win over West Alabama.
