Smith averaged 13.5 points off-the-bench as the Falcons closed out the first half of the season with a pair of conference wins. The rookie guard also shot 84.6 percent from the field for the week, making 11 of 13 attempts including five-of-seven (.714) from behind the arc. He contributed with seven points in 10 minutes of action in a 70-66 win over Christian Brothers, before adding 20 points, two rebounds and a steal in 18 minutes of play during a 76-73 win over Union. This is Smith's first GSC Freshman of the Week award and the fifth for Montevallo as he joined Camden Andrews and Carter Wesson.
