Sorrells brought home her second consecutive GSC Freshman of the Week honor following a week that saw her average 13.5 points, 5.5 rebounds, and 1.5 blocks in two games. The freshman saw her first action of the week against Delta State where she had 10 points, made two of her three attempts from beyond the arc, and grabbed six boards. She then came back the following game against Mississippi College with career-highs in both points and blocks with 17 and three, respectively. The Hamilton, Ala., native also grabbed five more rebounds and had a steal.
