West Alabama defensive back Otha Foster (SR, 6-1, 207, Angle, LA).
Foster takes home is first-ever laurel behind a record-tying effort in the triumph over Valdosta State. The senior strong safety had a direct hand in all but one of the West Alabama’s interceptions, nabbing three VSU passes and tying the school record for interceptions in a game. The Angle, LA native became just the ninth player in GSC history to tallying three interceptions in a game, first since 2009. Foster returned his three picks for 40 total yards and he also posted three total tackles led by two solo stops.
