Perez did a little bit of everything over the weekend as she earned her first-ever GSC weekly award, following her performance at the Flame Invitational. The sophomore’s weekly ledger included 66 kills, a .288 hitting percentage, 58 digs, six blocks, 10 aces and 79.5 points in 19 total sets. Perez hit .250 or better in three of four matches, including a season-best .382 in a five-set match with 34 swings versus Eckerd. She also had a career-high 19 kills against Georgia College and finished the weekend with four double-doubles, averaging 16.5 kills and 14.5 digs.
