Simco earned her second GSC Freshman of the Week award after helping Lee earn two victories last week. She recorded six hits, including three doubles, and drove in four runners while scoring three times. The freshman recorded a solid .375 batting average and posted a .421 on-base percentage, going 6-for-16 at the plate. The Elizabeth, Colo., native provided a good showing in the 8-0 victory over Christian Brothers, where Simco went 2-for-3, scored once, recorded a double, and brought in an additional runner.
