Johnson's performance led Union to a 2-0 record and a trip to the GSC Championships last week. He recorded 20 points per game on 48 percent shooting, grabbed four boards, dished out 2.5 assists, and went 16-of-18 from the free-throw line in two must-win games against Lee and Shorter. In the victory over the Flames, Johnson poured in a game-high 26 points off the bench on 7-of-12 shooting (58 percent) and knocked down four three-pointers at an 80 percent clip. The junior guard also converted 8-of-9 free throws in the 84-68 win over Lee.
