Smith ran for GSC season-high 181 rushing yards on 23 carries to help Delta State to a 49-25 victory over Valdosta State. The junior running average 7.9 yards per rush and accounted for three of DSU’s seven touchdowns on the day. He also caught a pass for an 11-yard gain.
